Holli Davila

Next Gen Director

  • Holli is a Texas-born church planting missionary with background in teaching, discipleship, and curriculum development.

Holli began following Jesus at a young age and has faithfully pursued a life that established her Christian beliefs as the foundation for all her efforts and endeavors. With a bachelor degree in English and a masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, the last ten years have been full of students and ministry as an English teacher and FCA sponsor in a public high school in Cypress, Texas. She has also led faithfully in various capacities in the single, student, single parent family, missions, and adoption ministries in her home church.

New to vocational ministry, Holli brings a heart that longs and loves to make disciples. She enjoys working with students (she think they’re a funny group of people) and families and loves to see people grow in their spiritual walk. An avid reader with a penchant for learning, she loves studying God’s Word, leading small groups, teaching classes, and spending time praying.

If you’re looking for her, you can probably find Holli with a book in her bag, a coffee in her hand, and a friend in tow off to explore San Diego county and God’s call

Mike Uhlig

Discipleship Director

  • Mike and his wife Cyndal first met in Fort Worth, Texas while they both served and led a volunteer team for their church's young adult ministry. They hadn’t even been married a full year before they began to feel the Lord calling them to San Diego. It wasn’t long before God made it abundantly clear that He wanted them to leave their comforts of the Lone Star State behind for the Big Sunny D. Mike left his career as a Pediatric Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to enter into vocational ministry full-time. He is excited to disciple new believers and develop a culture that is inviting to non-believers. Cyndal looks forward to raising their first child in North County while devoting her free time to building new relationships with other women. Recognizing that Christ has radically changed their lives there is nothing else they’d rather do than be used up by God.
