JESUS IS FOR EVERY GENERATION

We’re committed to helping the next generation win, so you won’t find childcare at The Hills, you’ll find ministry happening. Whether in groups where we are intentional about sharing stories of Jesus, singing songs that our kids will be able to carry with them throughout their week, or having a blast doing crafts and making friends.

The Hills Community Church exists to lead anyone and everyone into a life changing relationship with Jesus. We believe that starts young! Our goal is for Hills Kids to learn about Jesus at developmentally appropriate levels, make friendships with their peers, and have a blast.

Each kid will receive play games, hear a Bible story with life applications, eat a snack (provided for ages 2+), and create a craft. We currently have 3 unique spaces: Babies, Pre-k (2-4 years old), and Elementary, all contained in the Gym at Double Peak School. All of our volunteers are background checked, and we have a check-in/out process designed to keep your kids safe.

We can't wait for you to join us!

On your first visit, walk past the performing arts center, into the courtyard of Double Peak School, and you will find the Gym. Outside the gym you will find a Hills Kids Check-in table. There, one of our friendly volunteers will help you check your kiddo(s) in. Step in the gym and see how it all works! Then, you can head back to the PAC for our Sunday Experience. After service, come back to the gym, and our Hills Kids Team will be there to reunite you and your child.

NO PARENTS, NO RULES! (Well, some rules)

Hills Kids is a space created for kids (birth- 5th grade) to come, experience the love of Jesus and have a ton of fun doing it! We have three rules in Hills Kids

1) No hurts (words or bodies).

2) We all stick together.

3) Have fun in Jesus's name!

Meet Our Next Gen Director Holli Davila

Holli began following Jesus at a young age and has faithfully pursued a life that established her Christian beliefs as the foundation for all her efforts and endeavors. With a bachelor degree in English and a masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, the last ten years have been full of students and ministry as an English teacher and FCA sponsor in a public high school in Cypress, Texas. She has also led faithfully in various capacities in the single, student, single parent family, missions, and adoption ministries in her home church.

New to vocational ministry, Holli brings a heart that longs and loves to make disciples. She enjoys working with students (she think they’re a funny group of people) and families and loves to see people grow in their spiritual walk. An avid reader with a penchant for learning, she loves studying God’s Word, leading small groups, teaching classes, and spending time praying.

If you’re looking for her, you can probably find Holli with a book in her bag, a coffee in her hand, and a friend in tow off to explore San Diego county and God’s call
