STUDY: Take a 6 hour deep dive with David Platt to study God’s epic tale of redemption in the story of Ruth. It’s a story that reminds us that each of our lives–no matter how ordinary they may sometimes seem and no matter how difficult they may sometimes be–is indeed a part of a plan much larger than ourselves and much more thrilling than we could ever imagine.

PRAY: This year we will explore the story of the persecuted church in North Korea, considered by many the most hostile-to-Christians country in the world. Together we will pray and support our brothers and sisters in North Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia and other persecuted places.

ACT: We will be challenged to live on mission–in our neighborhoods and to the nations.

EAT: There will be a Korean food spread!

If you consider yourself part of The Hills, you won’t want to miss our family meeting. We’ll be talking about where we’re going as a church over the next year. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the church’s financial position, meet some of the leaders of our church who don’t normally get to be on the platform, and hear how we can all work together to carry the mission of Jesus into every neighborhood, starting in San Marcos.

**There will not be childcare for Family Meeting, but the church is willing to help pay a babysitter so that you can make Family Meeting a priority.

We’ll be giving all of our teams the week off and encouraging everyone to have a restful Sunday 

with friends and/or family.

We’ll come together for a family style worship service where we’ll sing our favorite Christmas songs and have a blast celebrating the birth of our savior.

Join the ladies of The Hills for a day of refreshment, community, and an opportunity to hear some truth from scripture shared that will help you in your life. We’ll have our friend Joanne Russell with us, sharing how we can take steps as women to follow Jesus and grow deeper in the community he has given to us.

We will share two meals together, have live worship, teaching, some fun activities, and a chance for your rest.

We’ll have a potluck Thanksgiving Brunch where we invite anyone and everyone in our community to come share a meal together and practice gratitude for all that God has done in our lives.

We’ll equip teams to be strategically placed in different neighborhoods of North County to hand out candy, build relationships with neighbors, and share the love of Jesus with anyone and everyone who shows up to their host home.

We are partnering with The Father’s House to do a trunk-or-treat this year! Kids can walk around and collect candy from different families. Hope to see you there!!

We’ll be celebrating our 2 Year Anniversary with food, fun and stories of what God has done over the last 2 years since our church launched!

We’ll have a special Sunday Experience where we’ll be praying over students, families and school staff. We’ll also have a gift for teachers and a Vans giveaway for everyone.

Friday, August 11 The Hills is taking over Sky Zone San Marcos! We’ll have $1 pizza, and you can bring your friends to jump FOR FREE from 5:00-7:00pm!

Admission is free! You will need to bring your own Sky Zone socks or pay $4 for socks.

This Father's Day, The Hills Community Church is hosting a car show at Double Peak School!

The car show will begin at 9am and run until 12:00pm. After the 10:00am Family Worship service, the car show will continue to roll and there will be free Tacos for everyone!

Throughout the morning, there will be carnival games, a bounce house for kids, and free tacos for everyone!!
